Caring churches are made up of caring individuals. If we are going to have a caring church, the kind of church that makes an impact on people, each of us must learn to care for others. With the current trends and the future trends blending together, there has never been a brighter future for rural ministries. It looks like a field white unto harvest. Many of the denominations are withdrawing from the small communities in search of greener pastures. There is a vacuum and God is raising up men and women pastors who will have great success in the rural communities. This course will help the student to understand the ―Five myths of ministry success;

PASTORAL MINISTRY
This course will teach the student how to conduct various programs and services which are necessary for the operation of the local church. The student will have practical training in these areas; Conducting a church business meeting , Preparing a church budget, Conducting a building program, Conducting a dedication service for a new church, Maintaining church records, Conducting a church service, Ministering to the sick and shut-ins, A soul-winning experience, Water baptismal service, Conducting a wedding, Conducting a funeral service, Etc.
HOMILETICS
This course will train the preacher to preach. The object of this course is to state in a simple and scriptural manner, both the indispensable qualifications of a preacher of the Word of God, and also those fundamental principles which govern the essential preparation and the effective presentation of the gospel. The student will study various types of sermons and discover techniques that will assist them in developing their own style of preaching.
CHURCH PLANTING
Planting a new church congregation is a formidable task. Even the most qualified don’t automatically succeed. This course will teach the student principles in planting a church. The student will learn critical factors to consider as they cooperate with the master builder himself, our Lord Jesus Christ. Do it! Planting a new church is worth all the effort and if your reasons are right, you will be stretched and you will grow. It is a great blessing from God to be involved in such an undertaking.
THE MAKING OF A LEADER
This course teaches Biblical principles and guidelines which will be helpful in the training of all phases of Christian church leadership. One of the greatest needs in the church of Jesus Christ today is for Biblical leadership. Biblical leadership is ministry that conforms to the standards of God’s Word. ROOTS OF CHARACTER
This course is basically taken from the Beatitudes‖ of Matthew chapter five. BIBLE SURVEY

Bible Survey is a fascinating tool because it meets the heart cry of every growing Christian. Bible Survey is compromised of nine courses, taught over the entire school year. It takes the student devotionally, yet intelligently through the whole bible. The student will learn to listen to the bible rather than just studying it. The student will have a working knowledge of each particular section of the bible. The student will grow confident in hearing from God in each book of the bible.
TOOLS FOR THE WORKMAN
This course will train the student to do original Bible study utilizing the Greek and the Hebrew, by teaching him or her to use a marginal reference study bible, a complete concor-dance, an expository dictionary, an interlinear Greek-English New Testament, a Greek lexicon, a Bible dictionary and other analytic bible study aids. No previous knowledge of Greek or Hebrew is required. The student will be asked to choose a biblical concept on which to do a complete concordance study to be presented in class.
HERMENEUTICS

Hermeneutics is the science of interpretation, particularly applied to the interpretation of the scriptures. This course presents a unique approach in several of it’s areas, particu-larly in it’s evaluation of history, its definition of the founda-tional elements in interpretation and presentation of herme-neutical principles. It is recognized by Christians around the world that God has spoken in His Word; the sacred scrip-tures. However, what is not so clear is what He said. On this point the opinions are innumerable. Unfortunately these differences have been used to divide the Body of Christ into many varied factions. One of the root causes of theological differences lies in the field of hermeneutics. The problems is not over the revelation and inspiration so much as it is over interpretation and application.
PROPHETS AND PERSONAL PROPHECY
This course will bring clear understanding and scriptural perspec-tive to personal prophecy and the ministry of a prophet. At this cru-cial time in the Church’s preparation, the ministry of the prophet is being clarified so that it will be fully accepted within the Body of Christ and can effectively prepare the Bride of Christ for the com-ing of the Lord. There is alive in the earth now a new breed of Christian, of prophetic intercessors and seers, men and women of the Spirit, a truly apostolic and prophetic generation, who like David have been anointed and set apart for the throne. They have had a glimpse of the kingdom. And as a prophetic generation they have seen the Lord coming in awesome re-vivals and outpourings of his glory filling the earth, overtaking whole cities and nations. Now is the time for change. There is a shifting in the heavenlies. The lead-time is rapidly expiring as the church steps into an acceleration of God’s purposes. Within every window of transition there is a kairos moment - a moment of intersection, as the new order eclipses the old - a point of no return. In the next five to ten years we will see alternative forms of church and of worship, after the heart of David, filled with an uncontrolled spiritual passion that will be used of God to reach a new generation. It won’t be new methods in church growth, but a new spirit of radical holiness, of worship – and a passion for the presence of God.
